Raising Innovative Kids

Raising Innovative Kids Was Specifically Designed For YOU (And Here’s Why)

I was in a rut. I got home from work, exhausted, had a million things to do, and needed to entertain the kids. What did I do? Turn on the TV. Pretty much every day.

The Negative Cycle That Needed To Stop

The easiest thing to do was turn on the TV. Sometimes I’d have the energy for something more, but I was overwhelmed and couldn’t find the energy to do anything different. Weekends were the hardest. I just needed a minute (or hours) to myself.

Finally, I had enough. I got tired of the routine. The screens, the lack of true engagement with my kids, the meltdowns from overstimulation, all of it. Motherhood had overwhelmed me and the exhaustion got the best of me. I knew it was time for a change.

I started focusing on building a life I wanted to live.

Building A Better Life For My Kids And Myself

I knew I wanted my kids to grow up to be happy and successful. I learned through lots of reading and research that innovative kids are more likely to be happy and successful adults. I created this blog to share the insights I have gained through my transformation.

Teaching You To Do The Same

At this point in my journey, I have learned to overcome so many negative cycles. I’ve gotten my health and energy back. I use the skills from being a professional engineer for the last 10 years to teach parents how to encourage innovation at home.

I want to help you create a home that inspires creativity and innovation to help your kids be happy and successful adults. If you want to develop your critical thinkers, problem solvers, and creative leaders, then you are in the right place.

What I Want To Change

I am tired of looking around and seeing kids stuck in the same old routines that limit their creative genius. Being glued to a screen, overscheduled, or too stressed makes for environments that are not conducive to creativity and critical thinking skills to flourish.

I’ve been there, so no judgement, but I promise, there’s a better way. And it’s not too hard.

So many families are struggling with having enough time in the day, and there just hasn’t been a solid resource created to help parents create an environment that pushes kids to explore new concepts and ideas.

So I decided to build it.

Raising Innovative Kids Was Designed For You

Keep reading if you want to raise creative thinkers, visionary leaders, and thoughtful world changers.

With technology finding its way into every part of our lives and inundating us with information, our ability to focus and create is being willingly given away. Our attention spans are shrinking as a society and as a result, so is our ability to problem solve and communicate fully about issues.

This means we need more critical thinkers

We need more innovative leaders.

We need more creative builders.

With inspired problem-solving skills, anything is possible for our kids. If we want our children to have secure financial futures, we need to encourage strong imaginations and provide an environment for creativity to flourish. In this way, we teach innovation to our children.

The future belongs to those who develop the ability to think deeply, find new ideas, and act on them. The innovators have always been in the lead.

We Need To Be Intentional About The Environment We Create For Our Kids.

Without some attention and consideration, we may unintentionally strip our kids from their natural creative abilities. It is my mission to support future change makers and visionary leaders by providing resources to you, their parents, on how to help you develop critical thinkers and innovative problem solvers.

Conclusion

If you’re a busy mom who wants to raise children who think for themselves, you’re in the right place. Innovation is creative problem-solving. This skill set can be developed at any age, but the younger you start, the stronger the skill will be. Follow along and get started now.
